With the “Master + Team” talents developing mode as our tradition, the school adopts the research-practice integrated teaching method, and enhances our talent-cultivating advantages of combining research and teaching to improve in order to enhance the “innovation & entrepreneurship” ability of students. The school has set up a continuous and progressive education process for students, including the “Annual Project” for freshmen, the “College Student Innovation & Entrepreneurship Training Project” for sophomores and juniors, the comprehensive practice courses for juniors and seniors, realizing the full cover of academic contests and innovative education for students.
To cultivate students' innovation and practice ability under the guidance of the masters, we established a series of high-end platforms for cross-disciplinary innovative talent cultivation with the help of academic masters' teams and State Key Laboratories. To achieve this goal, we’ve set up cross-disciplinary professional teaching and research teams, providing a teaching platform to help the students complete their shift from knowledge learning to innovation ability improvement.A number of high-level professors have been selected as students' science and innovation mentors to guide students' innovative practice project research. Through such approaches, students can participate in major scientific research projects in advance, cultivate their interest in scientific research and scientific thinking, and improve their ability to analyze and solve problems in the practice of scientific research and innovation.
